Dear Colleagues,
It is both an honour and a pleasure for us to invite you to our first interdisciplinary HONPlus Circle Meeting in Munich. We are proud to be able to introduce internationally renowned experts from hematology, oncology, nephrology and pulmonology as speakers and chairs. The commitment of our partners from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota (USA) deserves special mention at this point.

In seven scientific sessions we are going to discuss cutting-edge developments at the interphase of hemato-oncologic, nephrologic and pulmonary conditions. Specifically, it is about the most recent research results and their potential translation into clinical practice. As our understanding of the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases and malignancies has rapidly increased, clinical classification schemes have changed, and novel targeted immunologic and cellular therapies have become state-of-the-art options for patients with haemotologic and solid malignancies, and these are now also emerging for patients with autoimmune diseases. The success of these novel therapies is not without risks and potential complications; their recognition and clinical management in day-to-day practice will also be addressed in detail at this conference.

There will be ample opportunity for interdisciplinary exchange and personal networking at the HONPlus Circle Meeting, both on the LMU Klinikum campus and in the city of Munich. On Thursday evening we cordially invite you to a get together, on Friday evening you might want to take part in our congress dinner in downtown Munich.
